Armed For The Will of God
Series:
Summary
Zooming in on our text this morning, it is important to understand that 1 Peter 3:18-22 talks about how Jesus suffered and died for our sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring us to God, and after His resurrection, He proclaimed victory over sin and death. Just as Noah was saved through water, baptism symbolizes our salvation through Christ, who now reigns in heaven with all authority. 1 Peter 4:1-6 acts almost as the application of our salvation. It is the result of what should be done after salvation during suffering.
